With the generous support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Human Rights Resource Centre will be hosting a conference entitled “The Rule of Law in ASEAN: Prospects and Challenges for the Business Community in Indonesia for 2015 and Beyond.” This activity will be held at the Sultan Hotel in Jakarta on 17 October 2013, from 8:30 PM – 12 noon.
The primary purpose of this event is to foster greater awareness of the preparatory steps Indonesia is taking to develop a strong environment for business as ASEAN moves towards economic and political integration. Government officials, representatives from business associations, NGO officials, and academics who are instrumental in advancing the rule of law and economic development in Indonesia are invited to come.
