Assistant to Research and Project Coordinator
Paula Luciana holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in political science. She has an eclectic range of professional experiences from health psychology, education, women’s and workers’ rights, as well as public development. Previously Paula was the research and training officer of Trade Unions Rights Centre (TURC), a legal aid organisation that assists labor movement. She has also worked with Tusk Advisory, a counterpart of National Planning and Development Agency, where she was a member of a study team specifically established to design the National Medium Term Development Plan (2015-2019) of Indonesia.
Paula has led several research projects on various issues including gender discrimination in the workplace (conducted in collaboration with the International Labor Organization), political strategies of trade unions in their attempt to be the people’s representative both in sub-national and national levels, and demography of voters in the 2014 presidential election in Indonesia.
