Business and Human Rights Research


The Human Rights Resource Centre is a not for profict track two organization established to assist human rights bodies under ASEAN.

The Business and Human Rights research is the 3rd research project engaging researchers from ASEAN countries with expected completion in September 2012.


Provide assistance in collecting information and data related to issues of business and human rights;

Read and summarize the reports and other relevant data and information relevant to the study;

Assist the Lead Researcher in providing comments and inputs of the preliminary reports submitted by the country rapporteurs;

Submit biweekly report during the internship period;

Submit final report upon completion of the internship;


 The successful candidates will have:

• knowledge of public international law, including international human rights law and          humanitarian law and/or international criminal law;

• Fluency in English (spoken and written);

• Research and drafting skills;

• High motivation and demonstrated interest in human rights;


The Centre can only provide a monthly transport allowance during the internship
